A: Your utility provides two 110 V "legs" (L1 and L2) with a neutral (N) in the middle. L1-to-N = 110 V, L2-to-N = 110 V, and L1-to-L2 = 220 V. This stabilizer accepts that configuration and outputs a regulated 220 V.
